We stayed at Mulia hotel unplanned in mudik season, we were exhausted after 15 hours drive and still has around 100kms to go. My brother in law picked the hotel randomly, we stayed less than 12 hours. My first impression was a homey, clean and warm hotel. We got an individual room with terrace and our car parked just outside the the terrace. The room was just fine, a decent size and clean (except for the bathroom rug, i rather skipped than to spread the dirt to entire room). The hot water worked, which is a major plus since i have a 9 mos baby. The bedsheet was in a tone of darker white, but clean. Surprisingly the towels were clean and smelled nice. It's nice to have the terrace since breakfast was offered in a tray and served in terrace sittings. We didn't mind, the hotel had this comfy feeling provided by their manicured simple plants, almost like home. I gave 3 stars for their lack of taste of room lay out and beauty and also their minimal amenities. But besides that, it's a comfortable and proper hotel.
